More about signs of ovulation
By lu on Dec 18, 2011 in General
The rise on the day of ovulation is not distinguishable from the normal ups and downs in the entire pre-ovulatory phase. It is only recognized in retrospect when it forms an upward line with the two days afterward.
Changes in your cervical mucus can be signs of ovulation. After your period has finished, your cervical mucus gradually increases in amount and changes in texture.
When you are not fertile, cervical fluids will be scant or not present at all. You may experience sensations of dryness, or your cervical mucus will be sticky, firm, and will not stretch between the fingertips (it will break). Non-fertile CM will hold its form.
